Book long forgotten, Riza finds solace in the warmth of Roy’s body against hers. Hayate is settled on the floor at the feet of the sofa, oblivious to the cuddles occurring on the couch above. Really, it’s a picture perfect image of precisely what it feels like to be the most relaxed she has been in ages.
She sighs into Roy’s hair. Fingers work at the strands as she breathes, a rhythm punctuated by a distant radio station that only further adds to the ambiance. Sleep seems not too far off, but true exhaustion has not begun to pull on her conscience just yet. For now, she’ll bask in the rare moment of respite.
I can add a cold headcanon though! Kanan also hates the cold, so whenever they wind up on a cold planet he huddles close to Ezra so they can keep each other warm. Hell deny it though and say it's just to keep ezra warm, but they all know what's up.

Anything that has to do with Kanan and Ezra father and son bonding I’m instantly on board. In the beginning (like season 1 beginning) Kanan would deny it, like he did when he was worried about Ezra in “Breaking Ranks” back in season 1 but the times after that, after the times he bonded with the kid, he doesn’t because he admits that deeply cared about Ezra.
That’s his blueberry son after all.
Thinking about Sirius being a big spoon cuddling James, and James completely melting in his arms, sharing a moment so vulnerable it's like they're the only ones in the universe, like they're the only two that matter. Sirius is able to give James everything he needs - comfort, safety and endless unconditional love, because James isn't just his love, James is his salvation. He will move mountains, hold the sky and rewrite the stars if it means getting to hold James like this, in his arms, right where he belongs.
