Lately, I’ve seen a lot of the people on here that I admire greatly, admit that they are not okay. It hurts my heart a little. Mostly because I want to reach through my computer and bundle them up in a blanket cocoon so I can snuggle with them until everything is alright. As someone with diagnosed MDD, I get it.
So, to anyone who needs it, this is an open invitation to talk. If you want to unload your problems, your worries, your anger on someone you’re likely to never meet in person, that’s okay. If you want to chat about your day, that’s cool. If you just want to distract yourself by exchanging inconsequential things like your favourite colour, that’s no problem.
For my followers in the Northern Hemisphere, heading into Winter, the Winter Blues are a legitimate thing. It has a very real impact. So please, look after yourselves and don’t be afraid to seek someone out if you need to. Whether that’s me or someone else.
