He’d just been putting his glass away after having had some water when he’d felt hands brush his sides before wrapping around him. He shuddered involuntarily, then nearly dropped the glass when he heard Leo speak.

The smaller man’s voice still slurred with sleep, so he obviously didn’t realise what he was saying or doing.

Or that’s what Izumi was reminding his body of at that moment.

He cleared his throat, and quickly returned the glass to the cupboard before he broke it.

“It’s gone nine, Leo-kun. You should be getting up, not trying to drag me back to bed,” he scolded lightly. It’s safe to say that he wasn’t thinking about how that could sound either. But, he had to admit that he was tempted. He just couldn’t give in that easily. 

“If I come back with you for a few minutes, do you promise to get up and actually leave the apartment today?”

The Nightmare stiffens slightly in Dream's embrace. A slight cock of his head allowing the Nightmare to catch a glimpse of his Creator's infinite eyes as a sharp smirk curls across his lips. Golden fingertips dance over the back of Dream's hands as he allows himself to soften against the contours of Dreams body. "Still think treating me like a lover will convince me to come home?"

Dream raised his head slightly so that he could rest his chin on the nightmare's shoulder. Arms loosely clasped around the Corinthian's middle, he basked in their closeness and the familiarity of having one of his own held in his arms.
