i miss the community :/ like it was such a wonderful place full of creativity and that i cant believe it’s dying. idk when, but i feel like the videos stopped being mainly sean sitting and playing a game with the community, and more just sean being a FunnyMan presenting to The Internet. (like felix). thats when i feel like i felt that same shift in the community. i dont think he sees a problem with that, so i dont think either the channel nor the community has great odds of rebounding :(( ugh

i think you hit the nail on the head with that. 

i literally just went through his new video today for some Robbie editing footage, and i was skipping ahead in a 5-10 second rhythm and i swear to god, at some points i thought i had accidentally gone backwards because of how much he was repeating the same jokes. 

and if he’s having fun with this content? i’m glad! but it’s also just,,,sad. 

sometimes i just think about how different the old FHV were, because if you compare it to the reddit stuff,,,it is similiar in a way, but so so different. two sides of the same coin.

FHV was so much more in touch with the community, the content was changing, the jokes weren’t recycled execpt some ongoing ones. it was refreshing to watch and actually fun! the newest FHV lost that as well tho, it had the same kinda detached feeling and it’s sad. it really is. 

and something that pops into my head occasionally when i’m answering these asks is how Sean mentioned that he hasn’t been himself lately,,,and when he mentioned that i felt a little glimmer of hope, yk? cause hey - maybe it isn’t just us noticing this drastic change! but then he turns around and says he’s the happiest he’s ever been and that glimmer of hope is gone as soon as it came. 

we’re stuck in such a weird middle and we have no idea where Sean is standing at the moment, so we just gotta,,,wait.
