Honeywell Bulletin regarding EGPWS and CUG10548F Card Issues

Honeywell has issued a service bulletin with steps for customers experiencing issues with their Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning Systems (EGPWS) and CUG10548F and compatible Linear Flash PC Cards. If you are experiencing issues, the recommend the following.

Power down the device in the aircraft

Insert the CUG10548F card into the device’s PC Card slot

Power up the device with the PC Card in the slot

According to Honeywell, this process alleviates issues experienced with usage of Terrain Database recording PC Cards.

CUG10548F cards purchased prior to 2015 (PCM-LFSA-CUG10548F) should display in PC Card Manager as in Figure B, and CUG10548F cards released after 2015 (PCM-LFSA-CUG10548F-2) should display as in Figure C.
