Reaching out, she takes hold of one of the hanging straps of his hood and tugs on it until he relents and leans in. Placing a warm, but short kiss to the berserkers lips, she lets him go afterwards with a lingering and gentle splay of her thumb across his cheek.
“You’re not as good at hiding how you’re feeling as you think . . Theres a difference between your normal quiet, and your upset quiet. However—” Shifting, she places the book down fully and reaches out again while he’s still close. Hands cupping his cheeks, she gives them a soft, playful squish.
“You really have no reason to be jealous. Haven’t I made it clear that I’m yours and only yours?” She pauses, just for a moment, then smiles again, “ . . Could it be that you’re feeling . . Left out? Have I not been giving you enough attention?” She HAD been rather work centric as of late, hopefully he didn’t resent her for it, “I’m sorry. But you have my full attention now.”
“...” For the most part, he was quiet; angrily quiet, of course, which she was right on the mark about. He didn’t react much to the kiss (even if he did give in and allow it), but his tail did tap the ground lightly after it.
Left out? Was that truly why he felt this way? Maybe. He also genuinely hated anyone being near her who wasn’t him. Though, he did get angrier when she mentioned it - so it likely was the case. Regardless, he gave a simple huff at her insinuation; turning away from her the moment she had finally decided to ‘give her full attention’ to him.
“I’ll be fine without it. I don’t need you anyway, I can just go kill a bunch of useless goons; what I normally do, shit like that. Just keep working, moron.” ..Was she even ‘working’? It seemed like she was just reading a non-important book.
