Flash Idea for a short comic I'm noting down lest I forget.
Cullen and Aisling makes Niamh (6/7) watch KPop Demon Hunters. You bet now they're all obsessed.
But if Aisling is now low key trying to learn the steps to Soda Pop -Dorian and Dagna are involved they're saying it's necessary for their latest research- Cullen has another goal in mind.
He looks at Rumi. Looks at Niamh. Looks at Rumi again. Back to Niamh.
Mixed heritage children?
He spends the next week looking for tutorials to recreate Rumi's braid. Goes into that with the strength of a racing train. Aisling is involved because he needs to practice, can't do it on the child, what if he pulls her hair?
Aisling goes to work sporting a wide arrangement of floppy, lopsided, full of loose strands braids, why does she care it keeps her hair out of her face and with just one hand her hairstyle is up to Cullen anyway. She just vetoed him gel and to give her a perm "to better have a sense of the texture" (Niamh's curly, Aisling isn't).
At long last, success! Aisling enters the lab with a viable top Dutch braid that holds up a day of heavy experimenting. The experiment can be done to the little one.
It requires lots of patient, putting Niamh in front of the TV, usually The Last Unicorn or Frozen do the trick, today is KPop Demon Hunters. Good, so he can have the reference in front of him. Lots of hairpins.
When he finally is done, all satisfied with himself because look at her she's so pretty LOOK AT HIS BEAUTIFUL CHILD *at least 10 photos get shot and send to everyone* Niamh looks at it and says.
"But my favourite is Mira."
At least half pigtails are way easier to recreate.
