It can be kind of horrifying looking up the casts of the YA shows you watched back in the day.
You’re all: “Hey, I remember those kids - I wonder what happened to them?”
One trip to Google later, you’ve learned that one of them is in prison for second-degree murder, one died of a drug overdose at the age of 23, and one joined a doomsday cult and hasn’t been heard from in nearly a decade.
I’m sure there’s some way to cast children in TV shows without having them horribly self-destruct when they grow up, but evidently we haven’t figured it out yet.
