CP3 - Robinson Junction. Hung around for a couple minutes to observe the crew and runners. Very happy to report that our crew here were excellent similar to my observation at CP2 (Sg Pauh Campsite). Personally, I think what's important as a crew is how they portray themselves as well as how attentive they are to the runners. The former is important for the branding of CULTRA and the latter is the core of their duty. If you think you have these 2 core values and can function on little or no sleep, I invite you to be our crew next year. #cultra2017

Sunrise. I've lost count of how many times I've return to this spot since discovering it in 2014. Sometimes by car but many times on the bike. The breathtaking view of the tea estate never cease to amaze me. #cultra2017

CP2: Sg Pauh Campsite. Couldn't stop eating when I visited them 😅. The oranges were so good! CP2 also had dates, banana chips, hot coffee or tea and later in the evening, Maggi cup kari. Yum! #cultra2017

The only decent photo I have of my artwork; a banner containing a collage of names. The team had decided that it'll be nice to have a welcome banner similar to that in Ironman and KL Marathon. My first attempt was with all 1600 names of the runners. I scraped off the idea after discovering that I'd have to check every single name to ensure it does not break/continue to the next line. So it was decided that the honour will go to the 100km runners; I still had to check every name with the registration list but at least it is less than 400 names (compared to 1600!). As a surprise to the team, I added in names of committee members as well as the Team Leaders. I hope they and the 100k runners liked it 😁. #cultra2017
