Good Morning Everyone☀️! A recurring theme that has been noticed this past week is the Power of our Words…This Age of Information has given us the ability to communicate through many different mediums, it is so accessible for us and convenient that its become second nature in our society to text, post on social media, etc. to everyone and anyone😄. This comes with its benefits and its detriments, for example, when texting we can instantaneously relay a message to someone👍🏾, but how is that text going to be interpreted by the receiver? Its debated that our communication is 93% non-verbal so without us being physically present, receiving the FULLNESS of our text message is impossible! This video is silent to represent a communication that is non-verbal. And as I am writing this caption, Im trying my best to be aware of the words I use and how I am using them, without compromising my own authenticity and genuineness. How can we better communicate in a world that is saturated with impersonal and indirect interaction? What are we truly saying and how is it being interpreted by the person we are sharing with? Oral traditional cultures profoundly understood the power of the spoken word and took great measures to be as accurate with their expression/communication as possible, because their histories, cultures, and people depended on it. We can ALL be great communicators in any type of medium we choose to express ourselves, as long as we take into account the Power of Words and Who We Are at the time we communicate them. I will continue to grow and learn…Mahalo, much respect!
