Called out a woman on her sexist comment towards the M&S staff yesterday. She was somewhat apologetic at first, but when I actually accepted her apology, she started yelling at me that she was 60, "not like that", "young people like me always take these things to heart" and she was "offended that I would say that to her". When I asked her why my age had any relevance, she glared at me then walked off. At least i got a thank you from the staff.

What I find sad about Conchita's Eurovision win is that most people are saying its a "fuck you" to Russia, but Conchita herself has said that most of her fans are actually Russian. Its not "fuck you Russia", its "fuck you bigots everywhere!"
