I need more nightmare!lock cuteness feels ♡♡

John wakes up in the middle of the night to Sherlock whimpering in his sleep and curling in on himself, his face screwed up with what looks like pain. John gently smooths Sherlock's hair back from his forehead, rocking Sherlock in his arms until he hears the whimpering stop and Sherlock's quiet, even breathing return. Neither of them mention it the next day but Sherlock is extra thoughtful, even going grocery shopping and cooking John a romantic dinner (◠ω◠✿)
