It was a bad day for Vlad, he didn’t have them near as frequently as he used to, or as Plasmius for that matter. But he did have them, and when he did they were bad.
That’s why it took him much longer than it should have to notice someone else was near him. His ghost sense probably went off at some point... probably.

"Really? No cape?" Danny raised an eyebrow, lifting the cape up to give Vortex a better look. The fabric was black, trimmed with a yellow gold in such an intricate design so as to look like a gentle wind. Where the cape would be clasped to it's wearer, was a plate that stretched from one clasp to the other, to support the form of the cape and to protect that area on the wearer; not to mention giving the cape a bit of flair. "Figured I had you pinned as a cape guy."

“They always look kinda shady. They’re from the government,” Elliot joked.
"Down Nimbus... Good boy." Votex held the leash with little slack, as Nimbus was getting to be a big puppy now. "Hello, again. It's been a while." [cumulusvortex]
Elliot glanced curiously at the big puppy.
“He’s gotten so big!” Elliot chuckled, and he put his hand out for the puppy to sniff it.
