Ingredients: 1 box cake mix. 1/2 cup vegetable oil. 3 large eggs. 1 cup water. 1 cup frosting. 2 cups candy melts. Cake pop sticks. Sprinkles optional.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and grease a cake pan. In a bowl, mix the cake mix, vegetable oil, eggs, and water until well combined. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let the cake cool completely, then crumble it into fine crumbs. Add the frosting to the cake crumbs and mix until you get a dough-like consistency. Form small cake balls from the mixture and place them on a lined baking sheet. Insert cake pop sticks into each ball and freeze for 15-20 minutes. Melt the candy melts in the microwave or on the stove according to the package instructions. Dip each cake pop into the melted candy melts, covering it completely. If desired, add sprinkles while the coating is still wet. Place the cake pops back on the baking sheet and let the coating harden. Serve and enjoy your delicious cake pops!
