how the dandys world mains react to having a crush on reader !!

astro is confused.
he's a pretty nonchalant toon, and will stay that way. kind of. he doesn't exactly know what hes doing with this information. i think he could acknowledge his crush himself, after all astro literally dreams about you. its not just mundane, background character dreams; its full conversations and hangouts.
astro knows its rude, but he likes to watch your dreams. give you good ones. maybe even visit you in them.
astro is a little less composed around you. he freezes up when you come up to him, and depending how surprised he is to see you the reactions vary. he can usually shake whatever shock he had off, though.
i think he'd invite you to come take a nap with him. to me i think naps with astro are highly valued as it'll give you a good rest and a better dream. so for him to invite you for one, you'd have to be pretty special.
after awhile, the naps would be a constant for you two. if one of you is stressed or annoyed, he'll go to you for you or vice-versa.
astro sleeps better around you.

sprout has to be told.
sprout's been feeling a little awkward around you for who knows why. his palms gets a little sweaty, and his cheeks get warm. he can't seem to figure out why.. must be allergies. can strawberries have allergies..?
after some consulting with cosmo of if it is possible that he can have an allergy to a specfic toon, sprout came out with a different conclusion. he had teensy tiny crush. ok. great.
he wants to get closer with you, which means every so often he brings you baked goods, invites you to hangout, asks you to come on a run with him, and immediately volunteering to help you carry supplies.
sprout can't help it if his voice is lost and the words die on his tongue. he can't help it if he likes being around you. he can't help it that his thoughts drift to you.
the other mains think hes in deep. (he is. he really is. he loses focus when you pass by.) sprouts just waiting for it to blow over. like, now, please, he doesn't stand a chance against you.

vee is caught off guard.
why does she like you? you seemed to be one of the few toons who didn't really care for her. sure, its not like you're a super fan like boxten or whatever, but you don't even really care for the show!
she'll come up to you, asking you if you liked the gameshow she last hosted. (admittedly, she looked for you in the crowd by the lights were glaring, so it was a failed endeavor.) you swear you can feel her composure break a little when you say you didn't watch them.
new goal - get you to either be a fan or get on the show. easier said than done. vee was always throwing little comments of how you should be on the show. "oh, you'd look great on camera.. you should come on my show sometime." or "you're smart, i think you'd be perfect for my trivia segment."
is she flirting? whatever. thats besides the point - all her asking is driving you insane. the more she asks the less interested you are in the show. your disinterest shows so much she practically begs for you to get on. (vee doesnt beg.)
shes always trying to dazzle you. please notice her. the girls getting desperate.

shelly is excited.
you've always been nice to shelly. including her in things, always visiting the dinosaur floor, even checking in on her! no wonder why shelly likes you.
shes really quiet around you (quieter than normal, atleast.), but in her silence, she's noticing. she'll compliment you in things you didn't think someone would notice. "i like how you hum when you think, its nice."
she gets all flustered when you brush past her, freezing up. when she's up at night she replays all the times she interacted with you.
she'll plan a conversation in her head and then just.. not execute them? shelly will get cold feet and just mumble apologetically and dash off.
sometimes she follows you around unintentionally. you've learned to keep talking as you walk because either way, she'll start piping off questions. shelly likes that about you.
she lights up when she sees you.
shelly will ask if she can show you one of her hobbies - or if you can show her yours. she's super excited when you say yes. she'll eagerly wait until you show up, then getting extremely disappointed when you have to leave.
