            It wasn’t exactly often that Sandman had the pleasure of inviting others over to his little sandy island he calls home. The moment he’s able to get a message out to cupid he could feel a sense of giddiness enter his person. He wonders what things he could show his friend at the island, seeing as not many people particularly visited him. Though truth be told he rarely had the time to be at the island, after all it was his recharging zone where he could get that sweet sleep he craves every so often. He makes sure to get a kettle going though, where there are guests tea certainly had to be brewing.

He chuckled softly at the kiss upon the back of his hand-- time would never dull the Cupid’s charm. A faint pink could be seen on his cheeks, but the Tsar did his best to conceal it. He’d ignore the joyful fluttering in his chest at the sight of his dear companion. For now, at least.

“I am thrilled to see you are well. I must beg your pardon for the intrusion, but I have taken it upon myself to check in with the Guardians during this trying time-- both present and past.” He allowed his hand to linger in the Cupid’s grasp for a few moments, before pulling away to assume his regular regal stance. The Tsar folded his hands behind his back, smiling pleasantly.

“I hope I am not imposing.”

“Wait-- what did you say your name was?” He’s not sure he heard it right-- and he’s all for making new friends but Cupid? Wasn’t he the god of LOVE? Sora didn’t need to be thinking of that sort of thing. He was all for showing how he felt, but admitting it to himself was another thing entirely. Especially when it came to his friends.

He resembled a skittish feline, about to scamper off.

“Your hospitality is appreciated.” Of course it had been a gesture between friends-- but the brief touch of those lips upon is cheeks caused a reaction, a faint glow emanating from underneath his pale cheeks. Cupid was someone he trusted-- thus making a trip to visit him for a much needed reprieve wasn’t too difficult.

Especially considering those on board the Clipper had encouraged such an adventure. Mani-- rarely, if ever, left his home.

“If I did not come here of my own volition, I am certain that my counterpart would have brought me here on his own.” Hopefully Darkside wasn’t getting too wild on board the ship.
