Elsa was idly appreciating the wide open beauty of nature. Free to wander among the trees and rivers as much as she liked. One with nature and all its forces and enjoying them to the fullest.
When she heard a cough behind her she thought at first it might have been Yelena come to check on her. Or Ryder asking for help with the herd⊠But instead it was a stranger. Not one of the Northuldra, to be sure.
âHelloâŠâ She greeted politely, turning to face this outsider.
âI didnât realize anyone new had entered the forest.â And so strange that the spirits didnât notice and tell her.
âGreetings.â He countered, nodding his head. That was still an apropos salutation, he hoped. Humans had changed so much since he first took command of the Moon above. They had grown-- told stories-- evolved in ways he never thought they could. Humans were capable of such wonderful transformations.
Mani smiled.
âI come here from time to time. Though it has been many a winter since anyone could enter freely.â He mused-- a flicker of fondness crossing his features. Closing his eyes he could feel a breeze curl around him, making him chuckle softly. The deity opened his eyes, the gray hues taking in the woman before him.
âI should introduce myself-- my name is Mani.â
