“I don’t really know..I never really celebrated my birthday.So..nothing really comes to mind….I guess we can watch a movie together.”

  “Alright. Which movie would you like to watch this time?” His gaze drifts over to the hamster as it yawns and settles itself back into a little ball, to resume sleeping.

Keeping that in mind he nodded.

“Right,I’ll need to set a schedule for the lil guy…gal?..I can probably build something to self clean the cage…Not to mention they need a name hmm.”

When white wished him happy birthday he broke from his train of thoughts.Smiling again giving a small tug of the other’s tie to have them bent forward to kiss them on the lips.

“I love it,thank you..”

  Oh? He bends down without complaint, and hums when he's given a kiss. “I'm glad you do. And is there something in particular you'd like to do tonight? Maybe go out, or stay in instead, watch a movie, work, or perhaps simply have a break and some alone time... ? Anything you want to do, you can.”

“Mm okay~!…”

   He smiled brightly looking at the tiny baby hamster.

“Ah..I need to read up how to care for one and get a cage and ball…Not to mention make sure 6.0.6 doesn’t eat them or something…”

   He rambled on trying to process on what he has to get and do.

  “... I could give you some tips, if you’d like. I’ve had a couple of hamsters before. Just don’t get a wheel, they’re not good for their little backs,” he suggests. Hamsters are pretty easy pets to care for -- They sleep a lot, after all. “You have to clean up their cages often, make sure they have water and food... and do take them out of their cage from time to time! They’re very curious creatures.

  “Happy birthday, doctor,” he repeats, making sure this time the other’s heard him right, since last time his voice was slightly muffled by the other’s red glove.

   Removing the lid he stared down at the tiny little orange hamster.He gasped,setting the lid aside.

“A-aw…hello little one?..I’m sorry did I wake you?…”

Okay there was a million things he figured white would get him but he was caught off guard to be gifted a pet.Especially such a small creature like this.

“They are adorable..”

  The creature’s grin can’t possibly be any wider than it is, at that! He approaches Slug, watching the small animal with fondness. “Try not to pick it up for now! It might bite because it’s not used to you, just yet. But I’m glad you like it. They don’t live too long, though they can be very sweet, without a doubt.”

  Oof white is certainly blunt with their affection.He couldn’t help but smile at those words.Walking into the kitchen he was surprised the other didn’t over do the decorations.Looking around he let go off their hand to inspect the present and cake. Oh how cute.    Seeing the meme decorated cake he chuckled and looked back at white.

“What no candles to blow out?”

   He teased attention was drawn to the closed box with holes.

“..And what do we have here?….May I?”

  There’s really not a lot for him to do, other than slightly perk up when he heard him chuckle -- truly, a wonderful sound -- and eagerly hope he likes the present.

  Inside the cardboard box ( in a corner ) is a small, sleeping orange hamster curled up into a little ball. Its black eyes open a little at the unexpected movement when its lid is finally lifted up.

“You really didn’t have to…”

   His voice trailed off gently reaching out to grab hold of the other’s hand.Eyes glancing at the side as a faint blush dusted over his face he walked.

“But thank you.”

  “I wanted to -- You’re very important to me.” He gives his hand a gentle squeeze.  The kitchen is not decorated; he’s aware the other isn’t big on celebrations, and he wouldn’t have wanted to make him uncomfortable.

  But there is a fancy-looking red cloth covering the surface of the table, and the cake is set upon it. A closed box with some holes on its top is set next to the cake. White Hat stops by the doorway, watching him and waiting to see what the other will go for first.

‘Love’    He still not used to being called that.At the mention of another kiss he took a breath reaching to tug his bag off.

“…Fine.”

  Ah! Good! White leans down to happily press his lips against the human’s cheek; and then he lets go, deciding to give him some space. “Come with me! I’ll give you your present and your cake, if you’d like a piece!”
