Curator was a rather peaceful creature, a sentient stuffed toy that had by some paranormal force gained life. It spent its early years pretending, pretending to play its part as a child's stuffed toy. Usually, when your child speaks of an imaginary friend, you dont think anything of it. They arent real. But Curator was. And Curator became very close to this child. As the years went on, the child, now adult, had amassed quite a large collection of toys. Curator would silently organize during the night, when its owner was sleeping. When its owner passed away, the family, two parents and three children, came in and started to give away parts of the collection to other children. This infuriated Curator, years it had spent, watching over the objects. It knew how much the collection had meant to its owner. When one member of the family picked up Curator, she collapsed suddenly, and disappeared. All that remainer was a tiny, plastic figure resembling the person that was once there. Curator stood above the figure, floating just a few inches off of the ground. It watched in odd fascination as the other members of the family froze, staring in horror at it, and what had become of their kin below. Curator had discovered, during the whole event, that It had the strange ability to, at will, turn whatever it touched into a toy. After that, it began experimenting. It found that it could summon portals to an in-between dimension, an infinite set of shelves. There were five toys that varied in type and appearance sat on the shelf. Curator wanted more. It began looking for victims, planting itself nearby lost children for them to find, laying right in a walkway to trip someone. Curator began a collection of its own, a collection of people. It thought it was quite ironic, how the tables had turned.
