The holidays have flown by with glitter and lights! We enjoyed spending time with friends and families during our public Christmas Potluck and our private family Christmas gathering.

The Fuquay-Varina Woman’s Club Holiday Home Tour was a beautiful success. We met new friends and had fun catching up with neighbors.

The December and January Teen Mastermind meetings were fun and exciting! Our teens learned about focus, aiming, distance, and speed during several different challenges that included constructing a moving object and archery.

With the holidays behind us, we can now focus on enjoying 2015 and spending more time with friends.

The following work was completed on the property:

Garage tin roof was painted.

Shed tin roof was painted.

Leak in the rear tin roof peak of our home was repaired.

The following work is still in progress to be completed:

We are researching blackberry and raspberry bushes for the rear planters.

Priming and painting shed in backyard.

Priming and painting the front stair rail.

We are very excited to announce these upcoming activities at the Ballentine-Spence House:

We are hosting a Coffee Break networking hour here at the Ballentine-Spence House on Monday, January 26th at 10am.

This is a fun and casual group of ladies who are invested in our local community as entrepreneurs, philanthropists, volunteers, and activists we are building a community that we all love belonging to!

Murder! We will be hosting our next Murder Mystery Event on Saturday, February 7th at the Ballentine-Spence House property.

We will be enjoying a sinister twist as one of Hollywood’s elite celebrates her 30th birthday! Reservations are required.

Teen Mastermind will be hosting their next meeting on Saturday, February, 14th at the Ballentine-Spence House property.

We will be racing against time with a team relay contest and other fun challenges. Reservations are required.
