Have you ever seen a car with, say, something sticking out of the back that was about to fall, or a car with a busted tail light? Surely you wanted to have a way to let the driver know, but when you're in a hurry, such as on the freeway, you can't exactly just pull up beside them and shout across the lane. Oh, if only it were that easy.
Well now, it's easier. With curbtxt, you can send a text message to the owner of a specific license plate number, just by typing it in on your phone, to let them know if their car needs fixed, if something's falling, if it's being vandalized, or if it's in the way of an exit. Or whatever the situation may be.
It's just that simple. A program like this could save a lot of people a lot of money ("your parking meter is running low!"), trouble ("The mattress is about to fall out of your truck"), and stress ("letting you know your tail light is out there's a Jiffy Lube two blocks from here").
