Hello! How are you?
The stairs leading town to Tyler's cell were dark, lit only by dim footlights on each step. Despite being three stories deep, the air was surprisingly dry, thanks to Korse's careful climate control. He kept the air at Tyler's body temperature, kept him in the dark, kept him in silence. By this point, all Korse had to do was graze him with the tip of a finger and the boy's whole body would tremble. Korse grinned at the thought, his sharp canines flashing in the dim as he continued his descent. In his hand was a small box, wrapped ornately. It contained a single peppermint, intended to override Tyler's tastebuds as the only solid food he'd been allowed to eat in weeks. Korse was excited to see his reaction--would the taste be painful? Enjoyable? He couldn't help but smile slightly as he unlocked the cell door and slowly turned the light up, a fondness in his voice as he softly spoke. "Merry Christmas, Tyler."
Gotta get the pharmacy to mix up a stronger meal substitute. Tyler looks more malnourished than I would like him to, at this point. Probably the lack of sunlight, but you’d think that would be accounted for in the cocktail I ordered... I just have to do everyone’s job, don’t I?
//Sighs.//
If only the lack of vitamin D were the only thing stopping him from making progress, the stubborn little dog. It’s like he doesn’t even want to be Better, I swear...
Sorry I haven’t used this thing in a while, babies, work’s been kicking my ass, both literally and metaphorically.
There’s a lot more of you kiddies here than last time. Anyone wanna say hello to moi?

Afternoon.
Draculoid Joseph?
//Korse smiles politely as he waits for the drac to turn around, crossing his arms over his chest with an attitude of relaxation.// I wanted to congratulate you myself on your high marks on the quarterly performance exam. You’ve really done well, for your age.
