Not me starting to sketch out a fic and in which Brian Braddock gets involved with the miners strike (on the wrong side, that being Thatcher’s side) one problem is I don’t have a protagonist.

LI really want to get into the fundamental class conflict that comes from the Braddock clan being Squire’s and Brian himself being the De Facto Squire following Jamie’s arrest for human trafficking.

Wait. I could also bring inspector Dai Thomas in. He’s Welsh (and works in London) but Thatcher pulled cops from across the nation to oppress the unions. So logically he would have also be deployed in action against the miners.

Perhaps two perspective, Thomas and as yet undecided protagonist. Or I could go protagonist less and have a large cast?

Yeah I think I may go for that, Jodi’s in the Uk at that time as well I could make it into a rather large crossover style event with lots of interlocking perspectives.

I want to see how being in the Marvel universe the presence of Mutants and Superheroes would affect the strike.

It also allows me to bash Thatcher and that’s always fun.

Yusuke Hint: I've been thinking about making art pieces as gifts for some of the others around here, though when it comes to those outside of the Phantom Thieves, I'm at something of a loss. The only way I can think to remedy this is by merely offering to create whatever is asked of me, so... I suppose that's what I'll call this.
