Jin was, unfortunately, not very good at hugs. Since she was made of brass and had no physical feelings, hugs tended to be cold and stiff for the other person and completely devoid of purpose for her.
However, that did not stop her from trying from time to time. Surely a sad-looking child left on his own in the marketplace was a good a reason as any for an attempt, wasn’t it?
