What was the Yates' Family's most memorable Christmas?

I think the most memorable Christmas for the Yates family will be a tie between 2006 and 2009.

Christmas 2006

An alien invasion that can't be covered up.

David ends up on the roof of the family's flat and won't know how he got there.

Molly and Emily meet the Tenth Doctor.

Molly and Emily meet a younger version of their Grandpa Mike, Jo, and the Third Doctor.

Molly and Emily have their first encounter with the Master.

Mike will learn what his granddaughters have been up to for the last year.

Christmas 2009

David is in a relationship, so it will be a blended family event.

Molly has been having dreams.

The Master is resurrected, takes over Earth, and turns all humans into himself. Molly and Emily are unaffected.

Molly is held hostage by the Master.

A planet appears in the sky, threatening Earth.

Molly and Emily's mother shows up.

As I haven't written these chapters, I'm hitting some of the plot points of both episodes and why they might be important to the characters.

My first OC was a cat anthro called Scarlett the Cat! I eventually dumped her for Ovi because I didn't feel comfy with a self-insert... XD

My favourite OC, apparently, is Ovi, considering that I tend to talk about him the most.

I would totally hang out with Wesser. He'd probably find good fire to cuddle around...

Hmm... I guess you could say Ovi, but he's more unwitting than actually a villain. As a actual villain, Lady Carrosa and Lana are my villains.

I actually had more trouble drawing her than writing her, but Honey Hachimaru. She took 10 years for me to feel settled on a design for her.

What is one thing you want to see happen in Zero Chill next season?

UGH! This is a hard question 🤣 Because it’s like what do I WANT to see happen next season or what are my realistic expectations of next season lol

Overall I’d love to see some queer rep happen mostly because I know a lot of people were expecting things to go Kayla/Sky instead of Mac/Sky. Honestly it doesn’t matter to me who or what the rep is, but it would be nice to see.

I would LOVE to learn more about Mac’s past in Canada re: Carson. Yes they said that Carson was his ex boyfriend stole his girlfriend but I feel like there is more there. I’d also love to see the Orca’s show up for another game. ALSO WHERE IN CANADA IS HE FROM? (As a Canadian, this is very important to me) Can we also please get a confirmed first name?

I would love to see the Hammer’s go for an away game. So far everything we have seen has been on home turf. Time for them to have to go away.

I want to see Kayla and Sky get into a competition as pairs. They have set this up, now they have to follow through.

MORE NICO. He did not get enough screen time.

Most of all, I really just hope we get a season 2.

Top 5 Cobra Kai scenes

Ooooooooooo. This could just be all fight scenes cos they’re so good. Caveat: School fight and LaRusso Manse fight are like the top of every list. So, going from there let’s go with:

1) The convenience store fight.

2) This might be cheating, but the whole end of Counterbalance from Daniel visiting Mr. Miyagi’s grave to him putting on the gi again and doing the kata. SO GOOD!

3) Johnny telling Miguel about Robby in the diner. GIVE THAT MAN AN EMMY.

4) The dream sequence. It’s so ridiculous and I love it so much.

5) In The Air Tonight. THEY’RE FINALLY TOGETHER AND ON THE SAME SIDE AND IT’S EVERYTHING I’VE ALWAYS WANTED.

I could keep going. Honestly. It’s hard to just pick 5. But, that’s what I’m gonna do.

OC Swap: Cara has known that Mikey is gay since they were teenagers. As such, she is extremely protective of him as being a gay man in Army in the 60's would have been very hard. She never directly told John that Mikey is gay, but thoroughly made sure that he'd be okay with it before getting serious with him. She also made some very thinly veiled threats/promises to Terry when she figured out that he was the catalyst for the change she was seeing in Mikey. No one messes with those she loves.

That’s really cool! I love that Cara is so protective of Mikey, it fits with her character so well.

Okay, here goes mine:

Kate was a bookish nerd and a little shy when she started high school, so she wasn’t too popular. She was more ignored than bullied, but it still made her miserable to be isolated. Her high school in Seattle was very sports-oriented, and the biggest stars (sort of like the OG Cobra boys) were the girls in the roller derby team. Kate was a little afraid to go to the tryouts, but she could skate and she wanted to make friends, so she tried and joined the team. The other girls gave her a bit of a hard time for a few months (they nicknamed her ‘Belle the Beast’ to make fun of her, because she was the smallest of them), but after she trained hard and did well in several matches they started respecting her and inviting her to go out with them.

In retrospective, Kate thinks maybe she put too much of an effort to fit in, but she’s glad she took initiative to fix a bad situation. And she’s still friends with many of her old teammates, who in the end turned out to be a bit snobby but good people.
