Using a 1930 Teletype as a Linux Terminal
Teletype Model 19 (and Model 15) Demonstration by CuriousMarc
Video description: We demonstrate our fully restored Model 19 Teletype (from 1940) talking to a Model 15 Teletype (from 1930). This is a demonstration format, from the user operation point of view, to wrap up the restoration. The explanation of how the selector works is new; however, most features were already covered in much more detail as we restored them one by one through many previous videos. The patient folks who learned it all through the restoration process might know most of this already, and much more.

Original Apollo 12 code listing (and the 1202 fix) from CuriousMarc
Mike Stewart recently acquired the original source code listing of Apollo 12, that he had been working on for years. In this longish video, he gives us a glimpse of what’s inside, including the software fix for the infamous 1202 errors.
The scan of the listing has been made available to all right here, thanks to Mike’s dedication and the Internet Archive: https://archive.org/details/luminary1…
The clean, hand-recovered, checked and known-to-recompile code derived from this listing is available here, also the master work of Mike Stewart: https://www.ibiblio.org/apollo/listin…

IBM 1401 tribute to Apollo XI
“I have created a simple program on the IBM 1401 mainframe as a tribute to the Apollo 11 landing 50th anniversary. Took some effort to get it to run on our cantankerous old machine. Come and see it demoed at the Computer History Museum on Saturday, 20th, 2019.”
