The silver lining to 🐐 @niklasedin & @teamniklasedin losing in the extra end in their round robin game against Switzerland earlier today is that hopefully it’s smooth sailing from here on out - they had a really tough start but they can still win all their games afterward, including the final. You got this guys, I believe! 👊💪 . . The featured game was Germany vs Japan & man where there some characters in the YouTube chat this afternoon... Glad I was able to see some of the SWE vs SUI game. Nik was hella clutch in his last shot in the 10th end to force the extra end 🔥🔥🔥 Unfortunately, the Swiss had the hammer & it was really difficult for my #Icevengers to steal the win. . . Lots of buzz on social media over the duct tape over Nik’s hat, which prompted me to look into the rule book. Ryan Olson sent me the link to the @worldcurling ‘s competition standards PDF & alerted me to the section about hats. As someone who is a big enough #curlingnerd to actually read through the media guide, I’ll probably look at the rule book someday. Or sooner if a situation arises LOL. Suffice it to say, I might be going to the store this weekend in search for black duct tape for cosplay purposes. JK.
