Someone brought in this sweet little guy after he had been hit by a truck. Because he hadn't eaten since he got there a day or two ago, we were allowed to spring him in order to get the medical help he needs. I named him Lucky as I felt he was lucky to be alive. I will know the extent of his injuries later today but wanted to get started raising some funds for his care. It appears he has a broken jaw, ulcerated, eye, dry eyes, and lameness He can walk some with help getting up but has not eaten or had anything to drink. If we can't get him to eat we may have to resort to a feeding tube. My wonderful pug "family" has never let a pug down when asked for help. I am hoping people will consider donating towards Lucky's care so we can get him all the help he needs quickly. He will also need to be neutered once he heals and all vacinnes and heartworm test. All money raised will go towards Lucky's care. If there is any extra $$ I will put it towards Puglsley's hip surgery that he needs and is still waiting for. (GoFundMe link in bio) Last night I was relaxing when I got a call around 9 pm from an Emergency Vet Clinic. An owner had brought in a pug to be euthanized. She is nine years old and was attacked by another dog. The vet there thought she was worth saving so called us. Each year we get cases that take our breath away because of the pain and neglect an animal has suffered. Last year it was Pee Wee, Gladys, and Emmet. This year it is Miss Woo. Miss Woo obviously needs immediate removal of her eye, tests, bloodwork, shots, etc. She is very skinny at only ten pounds! This sweet girl has extreme scliosis of the spine and has been completely neglected with her nails growing into her pads! Many would say to let her go but at nine years old we think as the vet did that she deserves a chance at a life of love and comfort. This is where our wonderful supporters come in. We need donations to get this sweet girl well and on her journey to a better life. Please please donate if you can. No amount is ever too small. Any funds left over will buy her treats, good food , soft blankets and a bed to lay on. If there are any additional funds, they will be used to help her other furry friends in need.
