I’m also laughing my head off about this afternoon, when an alt-right white supremacist influencer named Jake Lang tried to organize an anti-Islam protest in one of Minneapolis’ Somali neighborhoods that ended up having a turnout of less than a dozen fellow racist Nazi protesters - all of whom got run out of downtown Minneapolis by like a thousand counter-protestors. he really ran away like a little bitch. embarrassing as fuck for him

it’s scary as hell around here but I get prouder and prouder to be Minnesotan every single day. we’re not taking this occupation sitting down - and may it be an inspiration to the rest of the country when trump eventually tries it in more cities that didn’t vote for him. our immigrant neighbors help make Minneapolis the amazing city that it is, and they belong here just as much as anyone else.
