Homelessness is a manufactured hell, what artificial scarcity of homes, clothes, food, other necessities, and money creates. A horror story for society, a warning. Stay in line. Stay in the rat race. Could be worse. We could kill you in that way, let you die, throw you to the wolves. Work yourself to that death instead, drink and eat poison, turn your eyes to those few shining stars {we can’t all make it} and conceive that you may one day be like them, if you work hard enough. If you suffer enough. Work. Suffer. Marry. Make money. Believe you are happy. Ignore the impractical tendrils of your mind that hungrily grasp for more. Then, and only then, die.
