What's your favorite type of bookish merch to collect? 🔖 I am, admittedly, a sucker for lots of merch: enamel pins, book sleeves, candles, etc. But I find bookmarks so easy to hoard because (1) they are so small and easy to store, (2) they are pretty inexpensive, and (3) they actually have a practical, every day use! . . My favorite bookmarks to collect are from @dreamyandco & honestly, I don't even know how many I have these days. When they're not between the pages of a book I'm reading, they live in a mug on my shelf. I also love the monthly Dreamy Box for a curated collection of awesome merch for one particular theme or fandom. . . Today's September 7th task for #jcfseptember is to share my #CurrentBookmark. Photo One above shares my FAVORITE bookmark on the left and the book I'm using it in on the right. 😄😍❤ . . . . My #CurrentRead for #Emojiathon and the #Duodecathon is The Witness by Nora Roberts! I read 160 pages of this book last night, and I'm hoping to finish it tonight! 😄❤ . . . . Since Max's nose got cut off in order to fit into the collage, turn to Photo Two to see that image full-size! This second image also shares one of the reasons why yesterday was an anxiety-inducing day: Max stepped on a carabiner and I had to take him to an emergency vet! 😭 . . . . Thankfully, NW Pet Clinic was able to get the carabiner off of his foot. They didn't need to cut it off, so I still have it. And Max thankfully didn't need stitches for his puncture wound. But he's bandaged and we go back on Sunday to have it looked at. 😕 . . . . This was hard for me because Max was screaming in pain. 😭😭😭 . . . . The other reason yesterday was hard on me was because I had to go to the Social Security Office to fill out some paperwork. That was stressful. 😭 Especially because Max stepped on the carabiner when we arrived at Social Security and we had to go to the emergency vet instead, so I went to Social Security three hours later than planned and had a long wait. 😭 . . . . But hopefully Max will be okay. I just need to figure out how to get his medications into him! 😭 . . . . And now it's back to The Witness I go.
