Michael, who was in a band called Bomb that played the old CBGBs club in the Bowery section of New York City, posted these stairs that led down to the bathroom. 

Of the bathroom, he says, “Picture the stairs but with urinals, and smelling so strongly of stale urine, vomit, and heroin that you gag and get a contact OD from breathing it.”  

And, this is the bathroom after they revamped it. (Not much better, is it?)

This is the nice(ish) staff toilet that wasn’t available to the clientele. 

And, he also posted this picture of the asbestos in the ceiling over the bar. This place is legendary, I would never have pictured it looking like this.
