“tohru’s grades have been IMPROVING lately, i suppose i should thank YOU for that, yuki-kun.” she knew how hard tohru had always tried to study to keep her grades up, to make her late mother proud and graduate high school. however, much like her, tohru seemed to struggle quite a bit when it came to tests. but with the student council president’s help, she seemed to be doing much better. it eased her heart to know that. it only felt right to thank him for help her. after all, she and arisa weren’t exactly much help when it came to studying.

Jamie looked at the other, still curious and a little excited. He wasn't the least bit disappointed that the other wasn't a pirate. But even more excited when the other mentioned that he was an explorer and still had a ship.

"I've never really seen any so I don't know what they really look like. But first of all... do you have a ship and explore the sea? That's so cool! I bet you have adventures every day! Find treasures and creatures you've never seen before! Your life must be awesome isn't it?"

He asks in innocence, not really being aware of his question. Just remembering the old stories he saw and his mother told about the sea in the distant past.

🔥   it’s weird when he comes back - to accumulate back into society, but luckily it seemed to be getting easier every time he took a trip away. It was nothing compared to how hard it was when he first decided to make the move. The first thing he does when he comes back is look for Tohru , and he has to get readjusted with school starting back up - that’s getting easier too. His bag is slung on his shoulder , and he stops midway because he finally notices that he forgets his uniform - again. So many years living isolated and the subject of wearing matching clothes when he came back to school still was hard. He wonders if he’ll get yelled at again , it’s not like he could go back and get it. 

he should know the halls by now , the schedule by now , but now that break is over it seemed like he had to work twice as hard just to make it to class by the first sound of the bell. And then he’s standing there - the halls are empty and he’s so eager to get where he needs to go ( even if he’s unsure of even where that is. ) Turning the corner , he collides with another -

It was rather surprising that he didn’t know how to cook at all, the azurette was eager to show him how easy and fun it could be. “Please! I promise I won’t be that bossy!!”

Things were always so odd when people tried to defend him over things that were so NORMAL  ( – in his opinion. )      Yet, he couldn’t thank someone enough for being that concerned.

                   this   was   predicted   exhaustion   from   the   time   she’s   opened   her   eyes.          her body is heavy lead,   her tongue is surrounded in cotton,     &     the tips of her fingers feel uncomfortably along her own palms.     fatigue drawn in spring fashion,   a nature’s apologetic requiem behind her teeth     ---     mouth draws in larger breaths before there’s the recognition of a presence in front of her.     the slow draw of lidded curtains before head lifts,   her mouth in a parted array of doubt before an even more doubtful smile.          ❛     ah,   i’m taking up too much space on the bench,   aren’t i     ?     i’ll scoot over,   don’t worry     !     ❜          a hoarse exhalation before she moves to the side,   eye swaying before they shudder closed briefly.
