ghost/hallucination/whatever he is Curtis is lowk freaking me out istg if they killed him offscreen
love that we’re getting another “Frank goes to the ends of the earth to protect a little girl” storyline
I'm assuming the reason they kept mentioning Frank this season of DDBA despite knowing he wouldn't be in the season is because it was their attempt to appease the people in the Karen and Frank camp while they went down the Karen and Matt route. However, I just wonder if they ever plan to address why Frank was nowhere to be found after Karen was arrested or while she was going through a very public trial. After all, he specifically got captured trying to make sure nothing would happen to Karen at the end of season 1. You'd think he'd have at least gotten in touch after he escaped to make sure she got out okay.
The only thing I can think of that would've prevented him from doing so is if he was so deep in a state of grief-driven stupor that he couldn't tell up from down. And given the trailers for One Last Kill, I have a strong suspicion and fear that Curtis is going to get killed trying to help Frank in some way and that's going to end up being what finally breaks him. And I truly hate that for Curtis.
This is all assuming that they even plan to address why he wasn't around, which isn't guaranteed. There's a non-zero chance that they simply never talk about it and just move on, the way they're hoping that we all will.
Like, I'm not expecting One Last Kill to be about the kastle ship in any way, but I am hoping that it provides an in-character explanation for why Frank would behave out-of-character in that way.
