Day one of UK Plus Size Fashion Week kicked off at London’s 8 Northumberland with 14 stunning professional plus size models (UK dress size 14-24) who wore a selection of the new season’s collections by leading designers and retailers including Evans, boohooPLUS, Yours, VERY and Curvissa.

The event is focused on promoting fashion for plus size women, encouraging the fashion industry as a whole to promote a more diverse body image. Today will be the second day and will be open to the public, where fashionistas are able to get insiders’ tips on how to look good and feel good.

The team is led by Curvy and Fit Expo creator Rianne Ward, co-director of British Plus Size Fashion Week 2012 and 2013.

Other designers and retailers showcasing include: Curvy Kate, Ophee Fashion Group, Pahse 8, ELVI, Puja, Bombshell Vintage, Jane Watson, Popzen Doll, Nine X, Temira Collection, Alison Dominy and Eleven60.

UK Plus Size Fashion Week 2015 works in association with Evans, boohooPLUS and Make Believe Beauty.
