Nonbinary isn't only the absence of gender, and trans just means not being 100% all the time the gender you were assigned at birth.

As a disclaimer, I get send asks telling me to explain my existence all the time, and replies on twitter, and questions IRL, every day, constantly, and...I’m just So Done with that. People are like “well you’re trans, so that’s the way it is, stay closeted if you don’t want questions” as if I like, decided to be trans in a society that is cissexist as hell. I am just one person whose mental health is shit by default and I can’t be expected to be the Siri of trans issues 24/7.

(Basically I try to explain it as the first minute of this clip from Steven Universe, that’s how it feels, so I may seem like I’m a dick over one small thing, but.)

i know there was a post where some trans kid was talking abt how they saw the moon as a boy or nb and ppl absolutely dogpiled on them saying the moon had to be a lesbian and this was homophobic

this used to be a bad habit of mine, to feel superior abt canada. glad you’re catching this and pointing out the issues.

I used to do it too when I was younger, but I’ve since become exposed to a much fuller picture of all the things that Canada does and how that shapes up to what everyone else is doing (not just the USA).

It can be a bit of a learning curve getting a more complete picture of this country; faults and all, but I think its important.

um i don’t think i understand, is the ‘office’ look because the advice is impractical or because your capd makes it hard to hear the feedback?

Because writing the main points of what I’m saying on the slides is something I do to make the slides more accessible to other students who maybe can’t hear what is being said. And then I got docked points for doing something I wish more lecturers would do to help me.

I think you have to log in with your cable company, but I think they also said they’ll be no login required today? (Though I may be remembering wrong.)

I don’t think I have Hulu? My parents might, I can ask. I used their Netflix account before I got my own when I was about 19 (cause I was young and wanted to watch things with lotsa bewbs without my parents knowing.)

Update: My parents have a Hulu account I remembered they have the same few logins for everything but haven’t paid for a subscription so I can’t watch anything on it. POOOP.
