Custah Week 2026 is here with the theme Opposites!
For those who might not be familiar with the concept, a fanweek is an event organised by the fans with the objective to foster creativity across the fandom.
Day 1, August 15th: Wings / Roots
Day 2, August 16th: Comfort / Pain
Day 3, August 17th: Truth / Lie
Day 4, August 18th: Hope / Regret
Day 5, August 19th: Flight / Fall
Day 6, August 20th: Past / Future
Day 7, August 21st: Light / Dark
How do I choose prompts? Does the theme have to be incorporated in the prompts?
You can either use both prompts for the recurring day or pick one. The theme Opposite is the leitmotif of the event, but it doesn’t have to be echoed in your work. How you choose to represent a prompt is also up to your interpretation.
Any kind of creative work is appreciated! This includes but does not limit to fanfiction, fanart, edits, gif sets, graphics, and the like. Any sort of transformative work count as long as it’s human made and not created with generative AI.
But I’m not a creative person. How can I contribute?
Fandoms are, first and foremost, a community. You can support your fellow fans by commenting on their stories; sharing their art, gifs, and edits; and any other sort of interaction.
Do I have to post my work on the day of the prompt?
Daily contributions are preferrable, but in light of personal obligations and last-minute hitches, late entries are accepted.
How/Where do I post my work?
Any sort of platform is accepted. If you want the official account to share your contribution so that it can have wider reach, post a link on Tumblr and/or Twitter with the tag #custahweek2026 and tag the account. The objective is to share as many fanworks as possible!
For any other questions, the ask box is always open. Thank you for the attention; good luck to all!
