Indulge in the decadent blend of blackberries, vanilla custard, and creamy cheesecake nestled in a buttery tart shell. This delightful dessert is perfect for any occasion, from elegant dinners to casual gatherings.
Ingredients: 1 pre-made tart shell. 1 cup blackberries. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 cup cream cheese. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 2 eggs. 1 cup heavy cream. 1/4 cup powdered sugar.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350F 175C. In a small bowl, lightly mash blackberries with vanilla extract. Set aside. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Slowly pour in heavy cream and continue to mix until fully combined. Pour blackberry mixture into the bottom of the tart shell, spreading evenly. Gently pour the cream cheese mixture over the blackberry layer. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set. Remove from oven and let cool completely. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Before serving, dust with powdered sugar and garnish with fresh blackberries if desired.
