...While I appreciate that y’all like my boy Taylor, there’s so many combined asks and responses to get to that there might be a few, uh, delays. A lot of delays. Like, I gotta go to bed in 30 minutes and then do uni work tomorrow delays.

((Since I’ve seen a few people are giving their two-penneth about the Agents taking Zapfish from the Octarians, I’d like to mention that I follow a headcanon @grandpa-cephalopods once brought up, where the Agents replace them with rechargeable batteries!
They aren’t as powerful as the Zapfish themselves, but they don’t leave the domes without a power supply. They look like the dummies you get when you replay a level!))
Now I don’t normally broadcast my Inkling/Octoling headcanons, but I’m absolutely enamoured by this idea for an old wives tale.
The concept is: you can only be heartbroken three times, then THAT’S IT for your chances of finding a soulmate.
Naturally, it isn’t true, but it still causes worry for many cephalopods and leads to phrases like ‘third time’s the charm’ and ‘the lucky one-of-three’ getting thrown around.
I just also really like how well it fits with the <3 emote too... a silly little idea.
