Prescription for Fever - Cowbell
“…I got a fever and the only prescription…is more cow bell!” – Christopher Walken as Bruce Dickinson on Saturday Night Live.
I have been on quite a cowbell kick as of late and after perusing the internet, here are a few of my ideas for cow bell uses:
It would appear to most that the cow bell has a definite limited function, but putting it around a cow’s neck is just scratching the surface. Take a look at these tips and ideas for using a cow bell.
Noisemakers-Great for sporting events
Accents in crafts-use the colorful ones for a little extra punch
Decor-Cowbells look neat as accents for your home, you can hang them or just set them out.
Door Alert-You can hang one on your door so that you can hear when someone is coming or going.
Pet alarm-Teach your dog or cat to ring a bell that is hanging from a door when they need to go outside.
Attention getter-if you work in large gatherings (teacher, big office, etc) you can use it to get people’s attention when you need to get a word in.
Dinner Bell-ring it to let the kids know they need to come in for dinner time.
Fundraisers-you can order and sell a custom bell for church, school, organizations, etc. to raise money for trips.
Wedding Bell-they make great decorations for weddings.
This is just the beginning of all the cowbell possibilities that are out there. The uses for the cow bell will go as far as your imagination.
