Hi! I had a question about your magical girl case? The plastic casing looks scratched up (which is something I've heard to do) but there's also this gray stuff smeared over it, behind the cabochons. Is that to help the decoden stick and if so, what is it? I'm saving up money to make my own decocase and I'm so worried it will peel on me, so I keep looking for tips on making the stuff stick lol.

🍭: Scoring the case does help the silicone adhere to the plastic of the case. I see people make cases without scoring it and I have no idea how they manage to get the silicone to stay. I recommend just using a box cutter thats what I use but I do know some people that just use nail files.

🍭: But on that case specifically the grey stuff is actually old silicone. Its a remake of the very first custom I did so I used the old case to remake it.

🍭: None of my cases so far have peeled but I try to make sure to score the case enough to where theres texture but not too much to where its almost smooth when you run your nails over it.
