A long time ago I got an apron from @vaspider's store @nerdykeppie (like, pre-pandemic long ago) but never used it much because it had halter ties and my neck doesn't really like halter style things. Today I spent a few hours sewing, and turned one of my handwoven inkle bands into new, more comfortable criss cross straps for it! I used the original straps for the side loops, and reused the same buttons that came with it. The buckles are secondhand, which is why they don't quite match.
I was gonna steam the apron and take a better picture before posting, and maybe even postpone until I get around to adding pockets... But I decided I should just post it before I forget, haha 😜
Here is a closer look at the band, before I cut it up into apron straps (featuring Luna kitty). It was woven from friendship bracelet thread on my homemade inkle loom.
