Hi, I don’t really know or where to ask but I want to know how to ask folks about getting something commissioned? My OT skills are abysmal so it wouldn’t be something I can make myself. I’m willing to pay top dollar for it as a gift for myself for my birthday but I don’t really know where to start.
I really really want a Bart Allen/Impulse inspired Pair Topper. He’s my absolute favorite character of all time! I have tried to make my own, but my family is probably going to hold an intervention if I mess up the kitchen table again. So I’m asking for help.
I can do up to $40 before shipping, but I’m willing to go higher if discussed first. I know this is a really odd request, but I doubt Pair will make any official Bart Allen toppers and their Flash ones are already abysmal.
Update: I found someone! Thanks for all the messages and I wish I could say yes to everyone, but I’m a medically complex college student.
Glass: A Timepiece
Often referred to as the sand clock or the sandglass, the hourglass is a sand timepiece. It, too, necessitates meticulous calibration, just like any other timepiece. When making an hourglass, the person who makes them must do tests and make sure the tool is working properly.
The hourglass's ability to measure time precisely is influenced by a variety of factors. The right sand is essential. It is essential that the flow rate be constant. Glass will eventually be worn away by sand that is too fine, resulting in a larger neck size. The ratio of the diameter of the sand particles to the width of the neck is the most important factor.

Long break but back. Back with murderous glasses. Recently got back into sandblasting and needed a cannibal glass for myself.

Say hello to Megz LeClair! She's the designer behind DeZigner Custom Glasses. Her work is lovely to look at, drink out of, and even to collect. Here is a little bit about who she is and how she got started. Well basically, I'm 30 years old... No children and I live in Maryland. Its very expensive to live here ($1500/studio apartment!!) So my boyfriend and I went to a wine festival and I saw someone that was selling some decorative glasses that were just stickers and some simple ribbon tied to them and I decided that I know that my artwork was way better than that and I could easily make a side hustle out of what I do so I painted a few glasses and they sold very quickly and now I'm here. I'm still making the glasses then still shipping them on my own and I'm even teaming up with a few people to get my business networking so that I can possibly do this full-time. 1.) How much have you grown since starting your business? I have grown a lot. Starting a business has come with great sacrifice. And you have to be mindful of balance with friends and family. 2.) Ever gone to any craft conventions? Any planned for this year? I have a few events planned this year. My first will be at the end of February. Its a paint and sip shop. 3.) How long does each glass cup takes? A glass can take anywhere from an hour to 3 hours depending on the detail 4.) How fun and freeing is painting? Thinking of expanding? Painting is like a release. Its like a drug almost. It just calms and soothes. And the joy it brings the customers is so rewarding. Man! Her work is really something to behold. I love the creative nature of her glasses!
