This made me happy, so I'm gonna share.
This week, a friend commissioned me to make a custom plushie for her grandson. She requested a teddy-style wolf (basically an anthro wolf) because it's the kid's high-school mascot, and she asked me to dress it in a replica of his costume for one of the two characters he plays in his school's production of Grease.
So I did, and behold, Eugene the Wolf.
He's about 18 inches tall, with minky fur and little glasses attached to his face with embroidery floss. I'm especially pleased with his floofy tail.
Before I send a plushie to its new home, I give it a little kiss on the nose and tell it, "You are a good (species), and you are loved, and you WILL be loved." It's the only way I can part with them, and it's also what I wish people would tell me more often.
Anyway, an hour ago my friend sent me this. I've covered the kid's face because this isn't my kid, but rest assured, he was doing a PERFECT impression of that emoji.
Yeah, I think Eugene the Wolf is gonna be just fine. 😊
