One of my favorite parts of type design is to get to the moment when I design the Ampersand glyph. This glyph is having everything. And beyond. It tells everyone about the typeface and shows my abilities as a type designer. It’s not another glyph, it’s a statement. It’s me. If you want, you can see it as a distilled form of the entire typeface.
