Are you having a destination wedding? If so, you might be wondering about what items you should ship there and which items you should bring with you as you travel. The aisle runner may be one of the items that you wonder about. Of course, the size and weight of the package will vary depending on the length that you purchased to fit your aisle. But in most cases, even the very long aisle runners are not terribly heavy. But they are cumbersome. Our custom wedding aisle runners are rolled up and the package will be a long, cylindrical shape. Picture something like a roll of carpet - or a roll of fabric. It will be tall and it does not really have a carrying handle (like you would find on your luggage), so it’s going to be difficult to carry. If you have other things to carry along that day (like maybe your dress), this might not be something that you want to lug around. You might want to inquire with your airline to see if they can provide you with something that is the same item used for flyers who bring their golf clubs with them.
Bon Voyage!
