Task Manager Eyes & Heads

Among the variations of shells and clothing choices, Task Managers also have a wide selection of heads and eyes to pick from. Any head can be acquired for any model at any grade, though many have a preference for the humanoid options simply for ease of expression. In recent times, faceless emotive displays and "helmet" styles have gotten more popular.

When choosing eyes, a variety of iris options are available in nearly any color(s) and shape as well as any sclera color* though white is the most common/default selection. Higher grade lenses allow for emotive switching (heart eyes or '!' flashes) and illuminated eyelashes.

Colorless eyes (unsaturated, gray tones) are not available as default color sets; white and black irises can be used without issue and will turn gray under the corresponding circumstances. As TMs cannot cry tears and only high grade humanoid facial molds can use chromatic shifting to express feelings, all TMs with eye lenses are set to desaturate their irises when feeling distressed. The grayer an eye becomes, the more distress they are experiencing; this is an involuntary reaction.

Many base heads feature a minimum of a mouth and two eyes, though some custom molds and specialized styles can have multiple eyes, noses and other features such as horns, textures--really, anything one can think of save for ears, as haptic rings and auditory disks replace the need for ears for anything other than personal preference though this is discouraged as ear molds end to get in the way of accessing the main AI compartment. Radials and other features are not restricted to any grade, model or type, though Diurnal models tend to receive them more often than Nocturnal ones simply due to their association with stars; many radials are attached directly to the unit and are solid features that can appear as anything, however some can float off the head, move as a form of emoting or be full light projections.

*certain restrictions for sclera coloring and pupil options per military regulations are as follows: a civilian Task Manager unit's scleras cannot be colored "true black**" (dark, uncolored) and cannot bear the "three pinpoint" pupil style

**while "true black" is not allowed for civilian scleras, creative workarounds using dark "non-black" colors that toe the line of permissible allow everyone to enjoy the high contrast effect and feelings of power associated with military grade units

Hello, I was just wondering what you can tell us about character customization and the specialities we can choose from. You said we could customize our MC's angel form, so will they be able to have multiple eyes or multiple wings? Will we get unnatural hair and eye colors, etc?

With the exception of the wings, the MC will look human.

You will get the option for unnatural hair, skin, and eye colors. You can also choose the color of your feathered wings. (White, cream, gold, silver, light pink, light blue, or white with violet undertone.) You get additional wings when you climb the rank to Seraphim, which would make flying even easier. But as a minor angel, you get only two wings.

I think it'd be interesting if Time/Space Magic gives you more eyes temporarily. I'll consider that for the future.
