Some good news!
So today at lunch, I saw the old president of CUSY and started talking to her. Apparently, there's this couple from CUSY that graduated 5 years back and they've gotten married and have a baby now! They're both doing their PhD studies here at Yale, and I really wanted to get to meet them and sent an e-mail asking for a family photo.
Sorry if that sounds like a weird, prying thing to do, but I am just so happy that people like them exist. If they could work things out and get married and have a beautiful family together, there really is no reason for me to feel like my current relationship is completely futile and doomed.
