Caught! - Jin and Rosrla
Jumping realms could often be dangerous business. If you weren’t familiar with the geological set up, the political climate, or even the crime rate, you could find yourself in deep trouble.
More often than not, though, Jin threw caution to the wind.
The mirrorwalker had walked a bit farther than usual within his most comfortable mirror realm and ended up next to a new entrance. This doorway stood tall and had a certain glow about it, as though it were tempting him to step inside. Slowly convincing himself it’s for “studious” purposes, the fairly mischievous creature dipped one foot into the mirror. He felt a breeze on his ankle and giggled to himself, then stepping the rest of the way in. He kept his posture hunched as he took in his surroundings, hoping that person that just passed by hadn’t seen him. The architecture seemed older in style (at least in comparison to that of an Earth city) though there were obviously modern flying machines in the air. The mirror was attached to a wall in a halfway outside hallway. Large pillars made up the outdoor exit ahead of him.
“If I had to guess this seems to be a bit of an ‘uppety’ place.” He said quietly to himself, straightening up and looking around to spot people. “A home for royalty, maybe?” The mirrorwalker walked fully outside only to notice he was very high up in the air and nope- this was definitely not any of the realms he was used to. Plus, he wasn’t great with heights. He began to wander around casually, eyeing what looked to be a marketplace in interest. Not even ten minutes of his stroll had passed when approaching footsteps sounded out from behind. Jin ducked behind a pillar in caution, hiding his glittering hands in his jacket- bit of a giveaway. Damn.. already caught, huh? Perhaps he should have played the ‘I’m totally from here’ game but it’s a bit too late for that.
