Forever in a Day by Julia Channel Catches Fans Attention
Julia Channel has led an active life in the entertainment industry. She originally attended classes at a prestigious Italian University, taking courses in foreign languages and literacy. She was given a spot at the University because of high marks she made on exams in school. It was not a position as the Italian interpreter for the European Parliament that was in her destiny, however. The call to begin modelling quickly drew her from her studies. She left school to model and was offered a job during the 1990's that involved travelling to the Congo with a photographer to document the hardships of those affected by the AIDS epidemic. This was a life changing experience that Julia would carry with her from that time on.
Modelling led to acting and several gigs in music videos for hip-hop songs. One of these was the song “Judgement Day” by Method Man. She continued doing all she could in the entertainment industry, including writing, singing, producing and anything else she found an interest in. In addition, she founded an online dating service for women who feel they are unlucky in love. The right people saw her performances in front of the camera and Julia Channel was offered a job as presenter for her own music show, “Hip Hop Channel” on the popular French music network, MCM. This would prove to get her into the spotlight for the right kind of people in a part of the music industry she loved.
On “Hip Hop Channel”, Julia Channel was able to meet a lot of the stars she admired in the hip-hop industry, such as Guy Waku, Janet Jackson, Alesha Dixon and Cutee B. Her debut album “Colors” and its original single “Forever In a Day” have proved to be extremely successful for Julia. Fans immediately approved of the beat and it was a quick favourite on the club scene. The video for her debut single features football star Didier Drogba, who stated he was proud to be associated with the popular singer and glad he could participate in the video. The songs on the album were mixed by Vernon Mungo, whose success as a mix artist is already well known, as he has worked with top performers like Kelly Rowland and Kanye West. The second single set to be a hit for Julia with her fans in the French hip hop music scene is “Never Let Me Down”.
